Vaccines are one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your pet from serious, preventable disease. At Paradise Animal Hospital & Wellness Centre we carry a full range of core and lifestyle vaccines for dogs and cats, and we’ll set up a schedule that fits your pet’s age, health, and lifestyle.
Vaccines We Provide
- DA2PP — distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza and parvovirus (dogs)
- FVRCP — feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia (cats)
- Rabies — dogs and cats
- Bordetella — kennel cough (dogs)
- Feline Leukemia — cats
Vaccine Schedule
DA2PP & FVRCP
- First vaccine at 8 weeks
- Second vaccine at 12 weeks
- Third vaccine at 16 weeks
- Return in one year for a booster
- Every 3 years after that
Rabies
- First vaccine at 16 weeks
- Repeat in one year, on the exact date or before
- Every 3 years after that
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
- First vaccine at 12 weeks
- Repeated yearly
Please Don’t Miss A Due Date
If a vaccine is missed by even one day past due, your pet will need to repeat the vaccine series. This matters most for the rabies booster, which has to be given on or before its exact due date. Booking ahead keeps your pet protected and saves you the time and cost of starting over.
